I bought this Yamaha Weddington Custom back in July, but didn’t take many pictures of it at the time. I wasn’t sure I would kep it, but after playing it for a couple of months, it’s become one of my favorites. So much so that I sold the amber Weddington I bought about two years ago. Now that this one is here to stay, I spent some time taking photos this morning. Here they are…
Many people have commented that red guitars are particularly difficult to photograph. It was difficult to get these to come out the way I wanted; the flame maple, in particular, is much better looking in person than it is in the photos. Also, I’m not sure the color will be spot-on but it’s close enough to give you an idea how beautiful this guitar is—in person, it’s a stunner.
